Ragnar Tveterås presented a new report during Aquanext 2023, prepared by an interdisciplinary team from the University of Stavanger, the Veterinary Institute, Blue Planet and Wikborg Rein. The report, entitled "Sustainable use of coastal areas in aquaculture - Is there available land for growth?", explores the potential for expanding the production of salmon and trout inland, in the more protected coastal areas where we have until now operated aquaculture.
