Cecilie Sviland Walde

Cecilie currently works as a researcher at the Veterinary Institute. She has an education in fish health with a master's degree from UiB, and a doctorate from NMBU Veterinary College. In her doctoral thesis, she explored the economic and biological significance of lice removal for salmon. Today, she is currently working on the research project DECIDE until 2026. This project aims to develop a data-driven decision-making tool that will be able to provide an early warning and help confirm the diagnosis of disease outbreaks.
